First HenLaw Society Interest Meeting

On October 10 University of Delaware undergraduate students joined the HenLaw Executive Board members and faculty advisor Professor Phillip Mink for the HenLaw Society Interest meeting. Students were informed of the exciting and informative events HenLaw would be hosting for the 2017-2018 academic year. These include a law school student panel, an alumni attorney panel, and a “Law Weekend” in the Spring. Additionally, the HenLaw Executive Board is setting up a mentorship program that will pair UD students with alumni attorneys, with the hope that these relationships will last into law school and ultimately into students’ careers.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Mink advised students on how to prepare for the law school admissions process. Aside from a competitive LSAT score, Professor Mink stressed the importance of maintaining the highest GPA possible.

Students who could not attend the interest meeting should add HenLaw Society on their Student Central Portal so they can receive emails about upcoming events. Students have many incredible opportunities to look forward to throughout the academic year!
