On November 4, 2019, a group of UD students visited Widener University Delaware Law School to learn more about what the law school is like. After meeting the admissions staff and going on a tour of the campus, they sat in on Dean Rod Smolla's Constitutional Law class. Then they had the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with current law students, followed by the 2019 H. Albert Young Distinguished Lecture in Constitutional Law and the accompanying reception with faculty, students, and staff.
The Legal Professional Preparatory Program (LP3), in collaboration with the Student HenLaw Society, offers law school visits to students at least once a year. Past law schools include American University and Penn State Dickinson Law. Be sure to sign up for the HenLaw RSO listserv to hear about future trips!
